The story of Ugly the kitten is one of the most heart wrenching but eye-opening stories I have ever read. It made me cry, with good reason – but I’m glad I saw this and am now able to share with all of you.
This kitty just needed some love. The world had not been kind to Ugly. He had a missing eye, a deformed foot, and had clearly just been weathered down by the world. At no point, until the end of his life, did someone step in and see past what society had deemed as Ugly. This is yet another reason to remember, when a person or an animal looks scary or ugly, it’s not always their fault – sometimes, you can wipe away that weathered surface with some love and compassion.
