If there was ever a relationship where trust was critically important, this is it. This Lion and Dachshund are best buddies – the lion is around 25 times the size of the Dachshund, and with a name like Bonedigger, you know this lion ensures the Dachshund doesn’t have to worry about bullies.
The lion is cared for by an animal trainer that lost both of his legs in a bungie jumping accident. When the lion was a cub, he was introduced to the Dachshunds, also commonly referred to as Hotdogs, and they have been inseparable ever since. One of the Dachshunds, Milo, even fearlessly gives Bonedigger the lion dental inspections! That’s really something.
