What This Dog Went Through Is Heart Wrenching

This little dog was way too young to have already been through such trauma and hardship. Not even a grown dog yet, this puppy still had his baby teeth when the good people from the Hope For Paws organization found him living near some train tracks.

When Eldad and Lisa approached the dog, they had to do so very quietly so as not to startle him – they had been told by a local that every time someone would try to approach the puppy, he would run in terror. It’s not hard to imagine why – even if he hadn’t been abused by humans, imagine what he must have felt every time a train roared by.

Thankfully, after some stealthy leashing and a lot of patience, the rescuers were able to get the puppy away from the tracks. Minutes later, a massive train flew by the exact track that the puppy had been sitting next to. You could tell he was grateful and relieved to be rescued; the second he was in Lisa’s arms, he came to rest and fell asleep. No doubt he was exhausted from the ordeal he had just survived. Thank goodness Hope For Paws was able to rescue this dog from such a precarious and traumatic situation.

The puppy was given the name “Finn”, and this story has a very happy ending: Finn found a forever home! Sometimes a little good deed can go a very, very long way.
