You’re really going to enjoy this video of dogs and cats meeting babies for the first time.
It’s truly amazing how gentle and sweet these beautiful animals can be towards newborn humans. I’ve seen it with my own dog, and the dogs in my friends’ families; they can smell and sense that the baby is fragile and a part of the family. Their behavior changes: the dog’s ears go back, they move in slowly and with extreme caution, and even when they lick… they do so very gently.
