Pitbulls are great dogs. I’ve known many people that have owned them, and I’ve also had the pleasure of owning one myself. People that fill these dogs with love will find that they have a limitless capacity for giving back as much love as they are given.
I’ve heard some soon-to-be mothers react with skepticism or shock when they hear that some families successfully keep pitbulls as family dogs with young children. I wouldn’t just say that this breed makes an OK family dog with small children… I would say that pitbulls LOVE babies and small children. In fact, in the old days, pitbulls used to be known as nanny dogs because they were so good at minding the kids. Isn’t that cool?
