This dog is Mary, and she did a very special thing for a litter of kittens in need.
She stepped in and fostered three kittens that were dropped off at the Animal Shelter Pickens County in Jasper, Georgia without a mother. They explain in the video that the kittens want to leave the kennel more than the pups because they now have their eyes open, while the puppies didn’t. But, that didn’t stop Mary from being the best foster mother around! Watch as she goes and picks them back up very carefully and brings them back to where she’s lying down with her puppies. She even knows to lick the kittens, just like a mother cat would do. What a good foster mother! It’s always beautiful to see how different types of animals can love each other unconditionally, especially with something as special as a dog fostering kittens like this.
